Statement from the Tadelman Campaign regarding Sign Vandalism

A growing number of our campaign signs have been vandalized in recent weeks. Many of these signs were at businesses and properties throughout the county and were the large four-foot by four-foot signs. Now the attacks have shifted to homes including yard signs. The messages on the signs are anti-law enforcement and “anarchists” symbols. This kind of activity is a direct contradiction to our democracy and the right to freely express your support of a candidate.

We are asking that the public help find the perpetrators of these acts of vandalism by reporting an incident and asking your neighbors for help. If they have video cameras who may have captured information that could lead to the arrest of these vandals, please contact the local law enforcement agency. Campaigns tend to get heated, but there are other ways to use that energy instead of destructive means.

We are also asking that all the other campaigns in the county put out a similar message so that we all can use these final days of the campaign to focus on issues.
